The Kansas Association of Local Health Departments, as a part of a grant from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, is pleased to release a white paper for local health departments in Kansas to improve vaccination rates and reduce vaccine hesitancy.
The white paper was published in response to a January 2022 study for health department professionals which found that over 45% of LHD employees do not feel comfortable in addressing vaccine misinformation and hesitancy in their communities. This data includes both online misinformation and in-person. Additional resources will be available for health departments throughout March.
