Inter-Provider Communication Improvement Project

In 2022, KALHD participated in an inter-provider vaccine communication provider project, hoping to improve communication between immunization providers in Kansas. The booklet below provides updated guidance on how to communicate with other vaccine providers in Kansas.

Epidemic Monkeypox Resources

In April 2022, the CDC identified a Monkeypox strain in Europe and North America. This disease is similar to Smallpox and Chickenpox. In July 2022, the World Health Organization identified Monkeypox to a disease of concern and noted it had become an epidemic.
